I like food

I like food and I always have. It is a passion of mine that I have kept with me like a mistress. I share secrets with her but never bring her home to meet my mother. I guess what I really mean is that I have always been to busy making a living and rushing around to make a place for my true passion of all things gastronomical, but that's about to change you see at the age of 50 I have left my job of 25 yrs and enrolled in culinary school. I am starting slow just a few classes at a time but it's a start, and I feel a need to document this new adventure so I will be posting about my trials and triumphs here in this blog. We will discuss school and the joy of competing with people more than half my age. we will also talk about great food and great chefs, the best and worst restaurants, wonderful recipes and I hope a mutual love for all things food related!
